Welcome!  Thanks for visiting our web site.  There are a few things I would like you to know, and a few things I'd like to point you to.  I'd hate for you to make a quick visit to the site and miss the best parts because you didn't know where to look.  This is a HUGE web site, with about a hundred individual pages I've written, plus a gigantic Cocker Spaniel forum written by hundreds of other Cocker lovers...  so if you only browse for a few minutes, you will have barely scratched the surface.

So...  the first thing to understand is that there are two main areas involved in this site.  There's the  traditional web site itself...  this is the part you are in right now, with all the  pages written by me.  And then there's the forum.  The forum is where you get to hear what all of my friends have to say, and where you can throw in your two cents worth, too.

Now, let me point you to a few specific pages I've written, which I think will be of interest.

If you don't already own a Cocker Spaniel, and you're trying to learn about them...  be sure to check out these three pages:

1.  General Information About The Breed
2.  Helpful Tips About Cocker Spaniels
3.  Frequently Asked Questions About Cockers

If you already own a Cocker, but are trying to pick up a few pieces of information you can use...  check these pages out:

1.  Tips On Raising Cockers
2.  Potty Training Tips
3.  Recipe For Home-made Ear Cleaning Solution
4.  How To Groom A Cocker Spaniel
5.  Products Recommended For Cocker Spaniels
6.  Recipe For Homemade Dog Biscuits
7.  Top 10 Signs Your Cocker Spaniel Is Addicted To Tennis Balls
8.  Information About Whelping A Litter Of Puppies
9.  How To Be A Responsible Breeder

If you're interested in purchasing a Cocker Spaniel puppy, these pages are for you:

1.  Tips On Buying A Cocker Puppy
2.  Puppy Availability And Puppy News
3.  Our Philosophy On Breeding Cocker Puppies

If you're really just interested in being entertained by some great pictures of Cocker Spaniels, these are the pages you'll love:

1.  Pictures of some of our previous litters of puppies
2.  Cocker videos and slideshows
3.  Dog Wisdom (Illustrated With Cute Cocker Pictures)

If you are searching for information about our family, our Cocker Spaniels, or our breeding program...  here you go:

1.  Meet The Human Members Of The Zim Family
2.  Meet Our Dogs
3.  Our Philosophy On Breeding Cocker Puppies

Those pages will give you a pretty good starting point...  but I want to encourage you to not stop there!  If you only visit the pages that I've written, you'll really be missing out on a big part of the fun that this site has to offer.  There's so much more in our forum!  The forum is where you get to hear what my friends have to say about Cocker Spaniels...  and the best part is that they all have digital cameras and they love to share pictures of their dogs.  Browse through the forum, and prepare to be entertained!  You find some great photos, some interesting stories, a lot of useful information from people who have been there and done that, and I think you'll find that it's a very friendly group.  Many wonderful face-to-face friendships have begun on our little Internet forum.  Even if you never meet any of the people in person...  I think you'll find them quite entertaining online!  We've got over 2300 registered members of the forum, and there are literally HUNDREDS of new messages posted to the forum every day.  (And in case you're wondering...  participating in the forum is absolutely free.)

OK...  that's my introductory message for you "newbies"...   now go and explore the site and have some fun!
