achc is the new dog club or? UNbelievable

I was looking at my local craiglist and saw a Basston advertised and had to check what the achc was. They mentioned it in their ad :bang

You can't stop people from making up their own organizations and trying to convince the public that there is something special about these mutts. Luckily I have started to see vets writing articles discounting the claim that hybrid dogs are healthy and calling hybrid vigor junk science.

Who in their right mind would go out of their way to breed an Eskimo with a Pomeranian? A Cocker with a Miniature Pinscher? Why? the result is nowhere near as cute as either breed, rather looks like your bog standard brown street dog that could be the result of any random breeding. Designer dog? sheesh.

Imagine a dog show with all those designer dogs: none of the dogs in the same category would look alike because you can't really tell which parent the puppies will look like... :dk

Am I right?

I looked at some of the pictures and some of the same ''breed'' pictures didn't look alike at all...

Wow! I had read this before but didn't see all of the different crosses nor the photos. OMG why on earth would you breed a toy breed with a normal sized dog...that cannot be safe at all! So many of those dogs look so disproportionate. I cannot believe people actually do this stuff and that they have photos of all these crossbreeds. Why on earth do we need more mutts??? I just don't get it at all! My step daughter has an unfixed lab....mentioned not getting him fixed cause they might breed him. I just said why when there are so many dogs in shelters?? :bang
