Prayers for fire to pass Terry by so she doesn't have to evacuate. Please God also send some rain to AZ, CO and NM....so that the firefighters can catch up in the fight .

Prayers for everyone involved in these fires. I wonder if the other members of the forum from Colorado are affected.

I don't think so, but not certain.
Thank you all for the prayers. The fire has moved north and up the mountain, but I'm still keeping my bags packed just in case.
Still smokey outside.

Hi Terry,

Praying for your safety. I've been following the fire very carefully. My son has been manning the Incident Command Post with the Sheriff's Office. He lives in Black Forest so when I heard that horses were being evacuated to Black Forest, I feel that for now, Black Forest is safe. Praying that it will stay that way. We are scheduled to fly into Colorado Springs on Saturday. Time will tell. This is such a very sad time for Colorado Springs. Lots of prayer is needed. Terry, I surely hope you don't have to evacuate.

Hugs,
Gail and Reese :paw :hp :paw

We are all praying for rain in Colorado and other western states. My family has been evacuated from the small town of Debeque. The fire there was only 5% contained last night.

Dannette, is that the Pine Ridge fire that started yesterday by lightening near Grand Junction?
We got a little rain yesterday, but not near the fire. Need lots more, but now we risk flash floods because the burn areas cannot hold water runoff.
They did find one person in a burned out home yesterday. Hopefully there are no more.
Some residents were able to got back to their homes, but not the subdivisions in or near the burn areas.
Thank you all for your prayers.

Yes, that's the one. We also had a small fire in Eagle last night. It was near a large subdivision but they contained it quickly. We thought we would get some rain yesterday but it never made it to the ground. It is so very dry.
