I have had several PM's requesting these silly balls so...I have decided to sell them.

They will be $3 each plus packaging and postage. That seems to be working out to a average of $5 per ball. If you are interested PM me.

Sept. 4 - I just put together a box of 45 balls and enclosed a check for $100 to go to Camp Cocker. Thanks to all of you who helped support cocker rescue!

I am down to a dozen balls but will be making more so check back often. (Although it doesn't look it in the photo ball #4 is a dark green.)

Here's what is currently available.

Well, I guess I will be ordering some from you Linda. I had my mom make a couple - 1 from your pattern and 1 from another pattern we found ~ I don't know which one she said was easier, but 1 of them took her several hours....she loves my pups, but laughed and told me that if I found anyone selling them to buy them already made :laugh4:

Do you have a picture of what's available or do you just want to know how many we want?

Oh, and if only we could find a way to add a squeaker to them......

Humm...funny you should ask about a picture. There was one here in my post. I wonder what happened to it? I will try to upload it again.

Thanks Linda for the pattern. I made one and Kasey went nutso over it!!! And in 5 minutes had chewed through the yarn in several places. So the next one I gave to Bootsy Kittycat and she made a couple of feeble swipes at it---gave me the look as if to ask "Where's the catnip?" I took another one over to a friend's last night and her little doggie loved it!!! He was soooo excited and caught it and ran away with it----I think he hid it from his brother! What gauge crochet hook are you using? I used a J and it makes a nice sized "brain" :laugh4:

Most worsted weight yarns call for a J hook. I crochet very tight and for me it is easier to use an H hook. I'm so glad all the critters are having fun with them. I am rather amazed at what good condition the balls are in that I gave my dogs. LOL!

I just re-read this and it should say G instead of J hook in the first sentence. Sorry for that!
