This week, Columbus Cocker Rescue and Life's Little Paws took in eight Cockers from a breeder in Missouri. The Cockers all have health issues including: chewing lice, whipworms, severe dental disease, mammary tumors, eye issues, and ear infections. Two of the Cockers only weigh 12 pounds.



These Cockers will be isolated in boarding for up to two months because of the condition they are in.

No other Rescue would take in even ONE of these Cockers, so Columbus Cocker Rescue and Life's Little Paws stepped up to help them.

I am posting this here because not everyone goes to the Rescue section of the Forum. Thank you for helping these poor Cockers have a merrier Christmas this year.

Columbus Cocker Rescue has taken in six more Cockers this week. Most were dumped at a shelter by a breeder. Several of them are seniors.

It seems like the holidays are when breeders decide to dump a lot of dogs.
