Well, for the first time ever I managed to get videos of our runs at an AKC trial and I wanted to share. It was our last outdoor trial until at least September - too hot in Texas to spend all day outside anymore!

Lady ran in open for the first time and managed to get her FAST title - her favorite class because even if we don't run what I plan, her plan usually lands her a Q.

And Dory jumped 12 inches for the first time in competition - she's a little diva and doesn't do heat so she's been working her way up from 8 inches. She earned her Standard and FAST titles and had beautiful jumpers runs, but a dropped bar in two of the runs so not quite there yet.

And now for our videos.

Lisa,
What great runs! Where have you been with brags (even if you didn't have videos) of the previous q's. Lady is one fast girl -- if she run like this all the time you won't be in Open jumpers for long!

Are you going to Cocker Nationals in St. Louis/Gray Summit in July?

Nice job! I really enjoyed watching your girls! Your Lady can fly! And Dory smiles the whole coarse! It's obvious that both your girls are having a ball! Thanks for sharing!

Nice runs! As Colleen said, where have you been before? Looking forward to many more.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to be better about posting moving forward - bad mommy.

Yep, Lady is my little speed demon. When we both agree on the course it's great. When she thinks her plan is better than the judge's, not so great. :bang

And Dory does have fun. More fun when she is able to successfully beg treats from anyone and everyone surrounding the ring before and after her runs!

We are headed to Cocker Nationals, but I was a bad mommy again. I obsessed over getting everything set up months ago and then didn't send in my entry in time so we only got in to run on Thursday. Hopefully Lady will earn her last Open Jumpers leg then!

Lisa,

Entries for obedience and rally don't close until July 5. There is all-breed obed/rally on Thurs and Friday, but Saturday is cocker - only (that is the only day I have Solo entered). One of the classes only offered on Saturday is Pre-novice (a non-titling class) that is done all on leash. There is also Beginners Novice (a titling class) that much of it is done on leash.

Just a couple of suggestions if you are looking for more things to do.

Colleen
