It seems like a really cute system, it builds your tag as you go.

Just wondering if anyone has used them before, and if so how well they hold up?

I've looked at that site many times but never ordered from them. If you do, please post a review.

Tara,

Are you talking about the tags that are built in pet store machines? If so, I don't recommend them for long term use. They are flimsy and bend around the edges over time.

I like the Boomerang pet tags. You can choose stainless steel and other metals. The stainless steel ones last a long time and you can have the tag printed on both sides. I need the extra info as we travel in an RV and the contact info is different during those trips.

Happy hunting,

I used Lucky Pet for about 13 years with my 2 Huskies and Lab. Never a problem and the tags were very durable. I recently ordered a slider tag with velcro that wraps around collars and harnesses. I ordered 2, one for the harness, one for the collar, and I have Home Again and a custom tag on the collar ring. The Velcro sliders are nice and stay on the collar very snug.

Hi Dawn!

No, the site is

http://www.thetagstudio.com/shop/Build-A-Tag

It's an interactive tag site. As you choose what you want - it builds the tag for you on the website.

I have never had these tags, but I saw them woman who makes them at a dog show. I thought they looked very nice and sturdy and they have a lifetime guarantee.

I actually kept her information for the next time I need some. I liked them that much!

Hi Tara,

The site looks good, but I have to wonder what material the tags are made from. The old tags, that I had that did not work out too well, were made of aluminum as I remember. I would stay away from aluminum. I still like my stainless steel tags and I have had Chloie's for all of her four years now.

I use the build a tag from the pet store and have no issues at all. I purchase the rubber silencers for the shape of the center tag and they do not rub or wear. Silencers are only $.99 at the pet store.
