Well my pup, it's seven years tomorrow that you left. I still look at your picture everyday. The good part is I smile more than I cry but oh, my sweet dog, how much I miss you! I can still cry when I think about the loss so I try to focus on the good times we had; picnics, the first time you went swimming, when you saw Olivia as a wee baby for the first time, when I was sick and you laid by my side night and day - only taking a bathroom break or eating when Daddy was home to sit by me. You were my first rescue. Everyone said it was so good of us to take you - the dog no one wanted. How foolish they were - anyone that knew you would have wanted you. I am forever grateful to the people that didn't want you - they saved you for me. I cherish every minute I had you. I would give anything to have even 15 minutes back to run my hands through your fur or look into your eyes but I hold you close in my heart.

Vickie, I know Coriander knew just how much he was loved, and loved you back with all his heart.

Vickie: The years seem to fly by, but we never forget those we hold in our heart. Wishing you continued happy memories of your Cori.

Vickie...

Remembering is good... and the memories sweet. They each take a little piece of our hearts... but give us back their whole heart.

Love the tribute.

Keep remembering ~ till you meet again.

*Wraps his arms around Vickie with complete love*

Vickie, the night Blake passed, I rubbed his paws all the way to the ER. Yes, he was gone but I knew it would be the last time I would touch him.

I actually left an area of my kitchen floor unwashed for several weeks because I couldn't bear to wash off the last of his paw prints. The day I did wash it I cried for hours and hours.

What a nice tribute. I know that your Coriander is smiling down upon you from the bridge. :hp
