We went for a walk at the Halifax Public Gardens yesterday and I took a few pictures. Here's one of my favorite. It could be easy to imagine a little hobbit living in this tree :gig . I did play with the colours using picmonkey.com so this is not the original.

What a gnarly looking tree. I bet it has some stories to tell.

OOOh, I'll bet that's scary after dark. But very cool during the day.

Thanks!

I have a Nikon D3000 (that I don't really know how to use 100% yet lol).

I'd love to sign up for a basic photography class in the Fall or maybe Winter.
