Hi,
I am looking for help with one, or possibly two cocker spaniels. I'm starting to plan the transport for this/these dog(s). They are being pulled from a shelter in West Plains, MO. I'm hoping to find someone who can assist in their rescue by meeting a pilot (if I'm able to find one) with the Pilots-n-Paws volunteer organization at a small airport in the Kansas City area. After pick up at the airport the two dogs would need to be taken to Winding River Kennels in Kansas City, MO where they will be boarded. C.A.R.E. (Colorado Animal Rescue Express) has a ground transport that leaves from the kennels on a regular basis. The dog(s) will be heading to Denver with C.A.R.E. and into rescue with Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue.
This transport is at the very beginning stages of planning. IF I can find help in Kansas City my next step will be to post on the PnP forum to request transport help from a pilot.
If you are able to help please PM me.
