I groomed a new SDSR foster today. Her name is Starbuck. She has one pale blue eye and one brown eye. I thought she was a black cocker with silvering but as I was trimming her, grayish patches showed up in her fur and patterning like a roan but without the bluish tint. This would make her a merle, yes? I didn't think blue eyes were necessarily an indication of being a merle but am I wrong about that?
