Hi Fellow Cocker Lovers!

Oldies but Goodies (OBG) Cocker Rescue is currently #1 in Virginia & #5 in the nation in the Shelter Challenge. Due to a rule change this year -- bummer -- we can't win two Challenges in a row as the top vote getter in VA, so the only way we can win this time is to win get the most votes in the nation during one week of the Challenge for a $1000 grant. If you're not currently supporting a cocker rescue who is in competition for a grant, would you consider voting for OBG? We've got around 100 cockers in rescue and would really appreciate your help.

Just go to http://bit.ly/xCy7S and enter "oldies" (not OBG) as the shelter and VA as the state. Then vote & be sure to confirm your vote by identifying the string of letters and numbers.

Thanks so much to everyone who is voting every day for OBG!

Chris has run into a quirk we see occasionally. Sometimes it's like the website locks up for no apparent reason. It doesn't happen often, but if you encounter it, perhaps you could try to vote again later if you have the time. I know how frustrating this can be.

I've attached before and after pictures of Adams who OBG recently rescued from a TN shelter. Check out those ears! FIVE pounds of mats were cut off this little guy. Adams sends his thanks for your help!

I vote everyday for you and have for the past several challenges! I'm quite competitive, and when I see you drop in the rankings, I get a bit upset. Here's hoping you get that $1,000.00 for those precious wiggle butts!
