I am hoping to find someone who may be interested or may know someone who is interested in adopting 2 loving male Cocker Spaniels. They are very attached to one another which is why I am looking for a home in which they can be kept together. I grew up with dogs and have not had one for over 8 yrs & unfortunately after purchasing my boys discovered I have developed very bad allergies which have become so bad that even though it breaks my heart I am forced to find them a new home. I have researched rescues in my area & most require you to keep the animals in your home until a new home is found and I am not comfortable using Craigslist as I have heard many horror stories. I will continue to suffer with my allergies until I find the right person who will give them the care that they need. Snoopy is black & white and Sinatra is gray/silver are both 2 yrs old, neither are fixed and both are up to date on their shots and freshly groomed for the warmer weather. They currently live and are very good with children. Once I figure out how I will attach pics.

Please for their sake neuter both of them before rehoming.

If you use photobucket or any other program such as that you can post pics from there to the forum. They sound beautiful

Here is an article on allergies, some of these suggestions may help your symptoms. Have you considered allergy shots? Have you spoken with your doctor? Sounds wierd that you grew up with dogs and then developed this as an adult, usually it is the other way around. I hope you find some way to keep your dogs as you sound very attached to them.

Same thing happened to my husband, he grew up with cats and now he can not even be in the same room with them. I hate my son's cat in my car and in a crate but he could not ride in it without serious symptoms.

Why not foster while a rescue is looking for a home? You still have them now, so nothig different while you are looking. A rescue will do the checks to be sure a good home is found.
