that I came home to find Henry had succumbed to his heart murmur, and was lying peacefully in the back garden. I will always miss you my darling boy!

I remember him and that day almost every time I read one of your entries. So....here's to you, Henry. You were a good dog.

I remember that day and I know that you do all too well. Weesister wasn't too far behind Henry, so I know exactly how you feel.

I hope your angel blesses you with a special memory to make you smile today :hp

Thanks to all! I must say it was easier this year than last, mostly because I was at a rally trial, so it wasn't until 4pm when I was sitting chatting to people about our dogs and I mentioned Henry, and suddenly remembered what the date was. I felt pretty glum in the evening though, although Ellie getting her Level 2 Title cheered me up. Henry was such a special dog, even if he was mostly beauty rather than brains, haha! :love

hugs - these anniversaries can be so difficult, even as the intense pain subsides. I remember him fondly!

Henry was such a sweetheart. Sending you a hug. No matter how many years have past the pain is still there - but hopefully a lot more smiles of remembering the wonderful times with him. :hp

Adding my condolences, Lucy. I remember that day, too, and can't believe it's already been two years. He really was a gorgeous boy. :hp :hp :hp

No, both are fine! Josie's 12 and a typical grumpy old lady with severe cockertude whilst Penny is as sweet and needy as ever. With no signs of relapse in sight (*touchwood*) :hp Will have to arrange a meet up or something later this summer and term for me doesn;t start till the 8th of october :)

Haha Ellie's already becoming a grumpy old lady (at least with youngsters) at only 7! Went to visit a friend today with a 15 year old Cavalier, he's doing great for his age! Yes, definitely will have to meet up somehow!
