Hi everyone....

for the past two years I have used the all natural tick collars for my boys. last year we got along pretty well with them. this year not doing so well. I have pulled several ticks off and are continually finding them, even tho they are small. however, I'm thinking I may need to use a different/stronger prevention.
I don't really care for the spot on stuff. I have used the Preventic collars before with other/larger dogs and have good results, but my concern with my smaller boys is the potential for side effects.

Any advice or recommendations? We gotta do something different to be more effective.

We use Comfortis for flea prevention.

My vet recommeds the Scalibor collar-good for fleas and ticks for 6 months. It is expensive, and I haven't used it, but he says he has had excellent results with it.

Sandy, I wouldn't use that collar. Some of the reviews are scary.

Oh My! I read those reviews, too. Very scary. I couldn't possibly put those things on my babies.
