Pictures from our May 2004
puppy reunion

On Saturday, May 22, 2004, we had our second annual puppy reunion...  an event we call "Pupapalooza".

We had about 30 different Cockers, at least one of just about every possible coat color, and it was amazing that they all got along really well.  We met at our local off-leash dog park, but it wasn't just a local thing...  we had people who drove over 6 hours one way just to be part of it.  Several of the out-of-towners stayed at hotels along the coast and made a mini-vacation weekend out of it.

At a big social event like this, I prefer to spend my time chatting with everyone rather than trying to take photos...  but there were PLENTY of other folks who got great photos.  Here are a few that have been sent to me so far:

This gives you an idea of the overall scene.
Cockers in a wide variety of coat colors, and lots of people admiring them!

We had at least one of just about all the Cocker colors...
including ones you don't see very often, such as a blue merle.

There were, of course, lots of partis...  and several tri colors...

...and solid colors, too.

I got to spend some time with Jake, our former stud dog.
It was as touching of a moment as this candid photo reveals.

There were plenty of Cocker kisses to go around!

Joanna just went from one person's lap to another.
She didn't spend much time on the ground.

I wore a special Pupapalooza t-shirt that Mrs. Zim embroidered for me.

Some of the dogs dressed up, too!

Mrs. Zim and I had a really good time!
We'd like to thank everyone who came and made it such a fun event!
